Ingredients of Vetki Korma

  1. It's 700 gms of Vetki Fish.
  2. Prepare 2 of medium sized onion.
  3. You need 2 teaspoon of curd/Yougurt.
  4. It's 1 teaspoon of poppy seeds.
  5. Prepare 6 pieces of cashews.
  6. Prepare 4 teaspoon of Refined oil.
  7. It's 1 teaspoon of Ghee.
  8. Prepare of Garam Masala(clove, cinamom, Elaichi).
  9. You need 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
  10. You need 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  11. You need of Salt as per taste.
  12. You need 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Vetki Korma step by step

  1. Clean throughly the vetki fish pieces then marinate with salt & turmeric powder.
  2. Fry the pieces in medium flame & keep aside.
  3. Make a smooth paste of 1 medium sized onion & chop a medium size onion also.
  4. Make a smooth paste of poppy seeds & Cashews.
  5. Give Refined oil in the pan or kadai & add the garam masalas in medium flame,after that add the chopped medium sized onion in to the pan & fry in golden brown colour.
  6. Add 2 teaspoon of Yougurt or curd in the pan & also add the onion paste with it,cook for 4 to five minutes after that add salt,red chilli powder with it & cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Add the poppy seeds & cashews paste in to pan / kadai & cook it until the the oil come out from the masala mixture & the colour of the gravy should be changed as little darkish.
  8. Now add some water in to the gravy & let it boil,after that put the all fried fish pieces & also add 1 teaspoon of ghee with the gravy & keep it in low flame for 5 minutes also cover with a lid on the pan/kadai.
  9. After 5 minutes open the lid & an amazing smell will be come out from the preparation.Now the Vetki Korma dish is ready to serve..
