It's no coincidence the late Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, for whom the Pavlova dessert was named, is said to have been ethereal, delicate and slightly controversial.
Pavlova is basically a giant meringue that gets topped with whipped cream and berries. The texture is crisp on the outside with a marshmallow-soft inside, and they are piled high with whipped cream and fruit. Your guests will love assembling their own desserts.
